An extremely obscure release, Sempiternal Deathreign‘s only album is a shockingly underrated yet vital death/doom release that demands to be rediscovered. While leaning more towards the death than the doom, openers “Creep-O-Rama” and “Resurrection Cemetery” mimic much of the death/thrash that reared its ugly head in the late 80’s with breakneck speed and bowel-loosening growls.

“DDENT is a French post-metal group from Paris, formed in and having released two full-lengths and an EP. Sporting a Pelican or Omega Massif vocal-less style, complete with post-rock dynamics, pummeling sludgy riffs, and a stunning sense of beauty within its uncompromising sound.” Post posts.
This review is not for the album itself. Only Theatre of Pain is a masterwork and seminal piece in the culture it thrived within. If you enjoy death rock, goth, or any of the associated variations, do not question whether or not you want this album. You do. This review is /5().
